Testing Service's newest site was initially created to meet the needs of
the automotive industry. Jacksonville, Florida is located on the
Northeast coast of Florida at 030°
23' North 081°34' West.
Jacksonville, is a major Atlantic Port city and many automobiles are
shipped to Jacksonville where they are then distributed to dealers.
Often times the vehicles will sit for extended periods of time and are
subject to the elements. The Jacksonville, Florida area has an above
average acid rain content. Thus the Jacksonville site was established to
meet customer requirements in the automotive industry. The Site is
located in the same vicinity (industrial/port area) as the off-loading
docks for vehicles shipped to the Port of Jacksonville. To ensure the
highest quality testing the Jacksonville site is maintained on a regular
basis by qualified staff members from Sub-Tropical Testing Service
headquarters in Miami, Florida.
